Valerie Williams
Growing up alongside a sibling with disorders and disabilities, I often felt invisible and misunderstood. This website is my response to that journey – a sanctuary for those like me, the 'invisible siblings'. For 17 years, I grappled with guilt, feeling isolated amidst a complex family dynamic. Now, I turn my experience into a mission: to offer a platform for open discussions on mental health, support for siblings, and to validate the complex emotions we face.
Here, you'll find stories, resources, and a community that empathizes with the unique challenges of having a sibling with a disorder. This site champions empathy, empowerment, and the discovery of personal silver linings. Loving a sibling you can't fully grasp is tough, but through this project, I've found my own silver lining – and I hope to help you find yours.
